This is an official notice of changes to be voted on in our regular October 17th, 2009 Meeting of the Friends of Fort McKavett.
There will be several notices sent out with members able to suggest changes until thirty (30) days before our meeting. Postings will be done via email, the Gazette, and on the website (s).

As you will remember, we couldn’t vote on any changes this last October because we didn’t give thirty (30) days notice. This is the first of several notices (there is also one on the first page of August’s Gazette).
The changes we have so far:
1) Change any reference to Park to Site.
2) Change Historical to Historic
3) Remove Membership Card requirement
4) Notice of Meeting can be given via email, Newsletter (Gazette), and website
5) Drop the quorum notice requirement
6) Change any reference of Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to Texas Historical Commission
7) Change several grammar and spelling mistakes in the Bylaws
